Privacy policy

Effective date: July 14, 2026. Applies to the Lanefall TD website, web game, and mobile/desktop apps.

The Short Version

• No ads. No third-party trackers. We never sell your data.
• You can play without an account — no signup required.
• We collect the minimum needed to run multiplayer matches and balance the game.

What We Collect

• Callsign (display name) — the name you enter to play. Stored on your device and shown to other players in your match.
• Session identifier — a random ID stored on your device so you can reconnect to a match in progress. It is not tied to your identity.
• Optional account — if you create one, we store your email address, a securely hashed password, your username, and your game stats. Accounts are never required to play.
• Gameplay telemetry — anonymous match events (units sent, towers built, match length, outcomes) used solely to balance the game. This data is not linked to your identity.
• Purchases (web only) — premium cosmetic themes are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of your purchase and store the theme entitlement on your account. We never see or store your card number. In-app purchases are not currently offered in the mobile app.
• Server logs — standard connection logs (IP address, timestamps) kept briefly by our hosting providers (Vercel, Render) to operate and secure the service.

What We Don't Do

• No advertising networks or ad identifiers
• No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs
• No selling, renting, or sharing your personal data with data brokers
• No reading of your contacts, photos, location, or anything outside the game

How We Use Data

To run multiplayer matches, keep your place if you disconnect, unlock cosmetics you own, show leaderboard-style stats on your own account, and tune game balance from anonymous aggregate telemetry. That's it.

Data Retention & Deletion

Match telemetry is anonymous and kept for balance analysis. Account data is kept until you delete your account. To delete your account and associated data, email us at the address below from your account email — we will remove it within 30 days.

Children

Lanefall TD is a general-audience game. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Accounts are optional; children can play without providing any personal information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
